    Laurens carved a woman's body into upright planes softened by curves. The stone sculpture entered the collection through the Louise and Michel Leiris donation in 1984, under inventory AM 1984-573.

    The painted head carries the word Dada, a date and the artist's initials. Made from turned wood in 1920, it was acquired in 2003 and is recorded as AM 2003-332.
