The Musée Picasso Paris brings paintings, sculpture and works on paper together with the artist’s personal archives. Its home is the Hôtel Salé in the Marais. Collection
Sketches, studies, notebooks and photographs record Picasso’s creative process. The collection grew from works accepted by the French state in lieu of inheritance taxes from his heirs in 1979 and Jacqueline Picasso’s heirs in 1990.
Its collection strengths include Pablo Picasso paintings, Pablo Picasso sculpture, Picasso works on paper, and Picasso personal archives.
