What the Broad collection covers

Eli and Edythe Broad founded The Broad in downtown Los Angeles. Its collection spans contemporary art from the 1950s to the present. Collection

The museum houses more than 2,000 works in the Broad collection and runs a lending program for museums and galleries worldwide. Its holdings include painting, sculpture, photography, prints, drawings and installation art.

Its collection strengths include postwar and contemporary art, Pop art, immersive installation art, and deep holdings by major contemporary artists.
